Also known as Annapurna Base Camp trek, this two weeks program affords a fine opportunity to surround oneself with major Himalayan peaks, in a relatively short span of time, without having to contend with extreme altitudes. The trail goes northwest from Pokhara and along the Modi Khola directly north right into a natural amphitheater of high mountains with 3600- degree views of Annapurna "I" (8153m), Annapurna South (7219m), Annapurna III (7550m), Gangapurna (7454m), Machhapuchhre (6993m) and Many more mountain. This trek, within its short duration, provides an interesting variety of climates, vegetation and terrain-from lowland subtropical villages growing rice to alpine vegetation closer to the pass and into the sanctuary where access could be difficult in mid- winter because of snow.

Itinerary in Details
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Our Company representative will be standing in front of arrival gate to meets you at Tribhuban International Airport, Kathmandu holding a board of our company SNOWPAL TREK AND EXPEDITION Pvt. Ltd. along with your Name and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
In the morning, after breakfast, full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, the most popular Place in the kingdom was known as Kantipur in earlier times. The tour begins from Soyambhunath which lies on top of hill is the Buddhist sanctuary said to be nearly 2000 years old. The hill itself is pleasant place overlooking the entire valley of Kathmandu. The all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha painted in prominent blue atop the dome are visible from long distance from around the Kathmandu city. Then we proceed to the Kathmandu Durbar square where we can visit Living Goddess “Kumari” who appear on the balcony of her temple to greet her devotees, Kastamandap temple (under reconstruction process after collapsed in earthquake in25 April 2014), the temple made out of single tree and named Kathmandu. Drive to hotel for final preparation of your trekking. Overnight in the hotel after dinner.
Day 03: Kathmandu (1350m)–Pokhara (915m) (7-8 hours drive)
You will have breakfast in the early morning before 7:00 Am. This morning you will be drive to Pokhara (200Km), departure 7:00Am in the morning, approximately 7- 8 hrs away by tourist bus. Lunch spot on the way to Pokhara. You will be arrived late afternoon at Pokhara approximately 2:00 o’clock. Pokhara lakeside villages sites, “front row centre” to one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Pokhara – Ghandruk (1940m). (1:30 hour drive and approx. 5 hour Trek)
After breakfast approx: 7: 30AM drive to Nayapul (42Km) 1.5hr by Car via large village of Lumle and walk about 20minutes to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town. From Biretanthi, we trek to Ghandruk, a beautiful village mostly inhabited by Gurung community. We visit Gurung museum and overnight at Ghandruk.
Day 05: Ghandruk – Chhumrung (2170m) (5-6 hours Ascend)
At this Juncture, we climb up for round an hour up to Kimrungdanda. On the way, we can enjoy great views of Annapurna south, Hinchuli, Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhere) and Ganggapurna. A steep descent taketakes us to the Kimrong Khola. After another steep ascent from Kimrong Khola to Chere danda, we descend for a while and then it's a gentle walk to Chhomorong. Chhomorong is a beautiful village located on the lap of the gaint Annapurna massive. Overnight at Chhomorong.
Day 06: Chhomrung – Dovan (2600m) (5-6 hour Trek)
Breakfast served in the morning at 7AM. Start your journey to Dovan approximately 8:00AM. From Chhomrung the trail descends on 2500 stone staircase and cross the Chhomrung Khola. Climbing high above the Modi Khola on its west banks, the trails passes through forest of bamboo, rhododendron and oak. Climbing further on a rocky trail you reach at Sinuwa, 2250metres. The trails continues rhododendrons forest, climb Kuldi. From Kuldi, the trails descends a long steep stone staircase into deep bamboo and rhododendron forests, then short distance on a muddy trail to Bamboo and time for Lunch. From Bamboo the trail climbs steeply through stands of bamboo, occasionally dropping slightly to cross the tributary streams, its take approximately one hours trek to Dovan. Overnight at Dovan.
Day 7: Dovan – Deurali (3230m) (4-5 hour Trek)
We pass through the bamboo forest which is damp and cold then ascend steadily with a few steep sections. It is only after reaching Himalaya Hotel that the forest opens up and we are out in the sun again with astounding views of the glacial river below. It is a steep climb up through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. From here we can see the trail drop closer to the river before climbing again to Deurali, the most scenic stretch of the day. The vegetation is sparse, allowing magical views of the valley, the river below, and the sheer rock-face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls. Over night at Deurali.
Day 8: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (5-6 hour Trek)
Climb gently through a river bed then over a steep trail over to the mountain side. The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is somewhat strenuous. From Machhapuchhre Base camp we get excellent views of the Majestic Mt. Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hinchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Ganggapurna which is certainly a rewarding experience. The vegetation disappears on the way to ABC and the path widens as we enter the Annapurna Sanctuary. From here, we get sensational views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna towering above us. The Sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding the 3600-digree panorama. Annapurna Base Camp is at 4,131m. we again get to savor mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchhre. Overnight at Annapurna Base Camp.
Day 9: Annapurna Base Camp- Bamboo (7-8 hour)
Being of the early morning wake up and climb to view point spot where you can see sunrise over the mountains. You will also visit nearby ABC then we retrace our steps to Bamboo after Breakfast. The track remains on the west bank of the Modi, now flowing through a more open valley and eventually emerges into the Sanctuary. Straight ahead is the high lateral moraine. After the sunrise trip, return to our camp and time for breakfast. After breakfast you will return same way to Bamboo. Overnight at Bamboo.
Day 10: Bamboo- Jhinudanda (1760m) 5-6 hour Trek
From Bamboo, the trail short distance is muddy, then it is an uphill trek to Kuldighar 2300 metres. The trails continue in rhododendrons forests down to Sinuwa, 2250 metres. Your lunch spot in Sinuwa. After lunch trek to Chhomrung. From Sinuwa the trail is down till Modi Khola. After passes the river, the trail climb steep way approx. One and half hour to Chhomrung. Then continue descend to Jhinudanda. Today we will have an opportunity to enjoy the hot springs which is just a 15-20 minute Walk down at the bank of glacial Modi Khola to soothe our aching body by netural hot spring. Overnight at Jhinudanda.
Day11: Jhinudanda – Nayapul about 6 hour trek and 1:30 hour drive to Pokhara.
From Jhinudanda the trail is very easy walk to Nayapul where we get to enjoy the amazing hilly landscape of western Nepal. After lunch walk to Bherikharka Out Trek ends at Nayapul then we board our vehicle to Pokhara. Overnight at Pothana.
Day 12: Pokhara City Tour
After breakfast we’ve sightseeing around Pokhara valley. You’re free in Pokhara Valley also called “ Magic Land” or Dreamland “ of Nepal, to explore the various interesting place like a boating in Fewa Lake looking the region of Annapurna Areas, David Falls , Mahendra Cave and some Temples. After lunch you’re free to shop for souvenirs or rest overnight at Pokhara.
Day13: Pokhara- Kathmandu or Extend other activities.
Drive to Kathmandu and next day transfer from hotel to international airport to board onward journey flight. Or combine with other trip from Pokhara like white water rafting or safari tour at Chitwan Park. The cost would be extra for rafting and safari.
