This trek starts from Pokhara through beautiful rhododendron forests; this region is the popular in the world. We see the lot’s mountain views Annapurna south (7219M), Annapurna I (8091M), Dhaulagiri (8167M), Annapurna II (7937M), Annapurna III , Annapurna IV, Machhapuchhre (6993M), Nilgiri, Hiunchuli (6441M), Lamjung Himal (6931M) and other many more peak and mountains views. This trek (Ghorepani/ Poon hill/ Ghandruk/ Dhampus) known also as the small Annapurna circuit is a very popular one in Nepal. The highest point of this trek (3193mtrs) and for many the highlight is an early morning pilgrimage to Poon hill for a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas where the mountains stretch as far as the eye can see North towards Tibet West towards the Dhaulagiri Himal and East with superb views of the Annapurna Himal. Not a difficult trek but it helps if you have a reasonable degree of fitness. This trek is considered to be the best introduction to trekking with some spectacular views.
You can enjoy the inner and hidden treasure of Nepalese culture and tradition. Subtropical to alpine vegetation and climates is found changing with elevation. Trekking in the region allows exploring through rhododendron forests over the foothills of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri and through the deepest gorge in the world, the Kali Gandaki Gorge.

Day 01: Kathmandu (1350m)–Pokhara (915m) (7-8 hours drive)
You will have breakfast in the early morning before 7:00 Am. This morning you will be drive to Pokhara (200Km), departure 7:00Am in the morning, approximately 7- 8 hrs away by tourist bus. Lunch spot on the way to Pokhara. You will be arrived late afternoon at Pokhara approximately 2:00 o’clock. Pokhara lakeside villages sites, “front row centre” to one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world. Drive to Uleri approx 3hour along with great scenery passing Hile to Ulleri village with the amazing landscape and Annapurna Himalayan scenery. This scenery gives you inner power to climb up for next day.
Day 2: Full day trek from Uleri to Ghorepani,
Morning we prepare for uphill, from here the path is gradual on the winding trail through the cool shade of forest and stream sound. We continues walk in the midst of the giant rhododendron forest and finally reache at Ghorepani for overnight stop. Ghorepani Deurali is a busy spot on the ridge in the midst of the beautiful rhododendron forest, offering fantastic views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range. Our trek leader will brief you for your Poonhill hike and remaining program.
Day 3: Poon hill hike and trek to Tadapani (2,710m/8,891ft), 7-8 hrs walk
As briefing yesterday evening, we hike to early morning for 40 minutes up to Poon hill and en-route offering the glimpse of aurora walking through the pleasant rhododendron forest. Pun hill named after the hill tribe Pun, inhabitants of Ghorepani-Shikha village. This is wide range of panoramic scenery from the far western Himalaya of Dolpo, Mt. Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna including Mt. Machhapuchre (Fish Tail) and all the way to Manasalu Himalayan range. It is picturesque Himalayan scenery and good memorable moments spending an hour to the top. After a great time return back to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue trek to onward destination, the walk passes through the Rhododendron, Pine and fir forest with up and downs hill and finally you will reaches at Tadapani. This is a great place surrounding by rhododendron forest with closest view of Mt. Fish Tail.
The trail leads us is on gradual downhill path most of the way with occasional view of the Mountain. The trail enters an unusual and cool forest of moss-hung oak and rhododendron for an hour to Bhaise-Kharka a small place with couple of teahouses amidst the woods. A steep descend leads us through the slippery small fast flowing creeks and streams, after the steep portion, the walk gets better on the gradual path most of the way for another hour or more to Ghandrung village and we stop her for overnight stay. This is heavily settled Gurung village, a modern village of Nepal and explore the surrounding area and simply relax at the hotel.
Day 4: After Breakfast trek from Ghandruk to Kimche drive to Pokhara and afternoon fly back to Kathmandu
This is our last day walk after long trek and immersing yourself to finish quickly this day. Trek leads through the scenic landscapes and local villages to get down to the Kimche. Our trek ends here and drives back to Pokhara.
Day05: Pokhara- Kathmandu or Extend other activities.
Drive to Kathmandu and next day transfer from hotel to international airport to board onward journey flight. Or combine with other trip from Pokhara like white water rafting or safari tour at Chitwan Park. The cost would be extra for rafting and safari.
