A journey to holy Mt. Kailash and Lake Manasarovar aling with Rakshas Taal, through our company Snowpal Trek and Expedition Pvt.Ltd, has always been a dream journey for all religious, people of Hindu, Buddhist, Jain community and all the adventure lovers into the Trans Himalayan region. However, due to lack of enough information, even interested people cannot make the sacred journey to these divine places. The trip to these places might be challenging both in terms of sufficient physical and mental strength. Pre departure right information and well arrangement are always big important issue. The best time is the months of May, June, July, August and September to make journey to Holy Mt. Kailash, Rakshas Taal, and sacred Lake Manasarovar. The early – booking is always preferable. Comparatively, May and June is the best time to travel to Mt. Kailash, Holy Lake Manasarovar and Rakshas Taal. One can avoid rainfall in these months though one might have to suffer a bit more from the cold than in July and August. During May- June, you can also travel via helicopter due to less weather disturbances. July and August is mostly rainy season. Particularly, if you are driving through the territory, few part of muddy roads can sometime stick your vehicles midway. Likewise, during the Mt. Kailash Parikrama, you might encounter flooded trails. Besides, during May, June, one can also enjoy the beautiful flowers, plants and sometime wild animals, too. September is a comparatively colder month. Tibet, particularly around the Holy Mt. Kailash, Manasarovar Lake and Rakshas Taal September is colder than July and August. May, June remains the Sky clear and trip by helicopter is good during these months of May and June. Late June, July and August is a bit difficult to travel by helicopter due to bad weather. In all other months of the year, the weather is much harder and it is extremely difficult to undertake the trip instead you can make similar trip to Damodar Kunda/ Upper Mustang and Muktinath both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims site also a Trans Himalayan region in Nepal. Warm clothing, well equipped water proof bags, comfortable trekking shoes with warm woolen socks and down jackets, woolen shawl, are some of the essential clothes you need to carry when you travel to the western and rural part of Tibet. Keeping in your bags some dry fruits, nuts, high altitude food like Mars, Snickers, Bounty and instant food is highly recommended. Our Company representative will be standing in front of arrival gate to meets you at Tribhuban International Airport, Kathmandu holding a board of our company SNOWPAL TREK AND EXPEDITION Pvt. Ltd. along with your Name and transfer to your hotel.

 Overnight in hotel on BB Basis

After Breakfast full day sightseeing proceeds to world heritage site to Syambhunath Stupa the Buddhist sanctuary said to be nearly 2000 years old. The hill itself is pleasant place overlooking the entire valley of Kathmandu. The all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha painted in prominent blue atop the dome are visible from long distance from around the Kathmandu city. Then proceed to patan durbar squar also call Lalitpur the city full of fine arts. It covers the dozens of temples like Krishna Mandir, Kumbeswor temple, Golden temle. Next site proceed to Pashupatinath Temple the holiest Hindu Temple situated on the bank of sacred holy river Bagmati. Sightseeing continues to the Boudhanath Stupa the biggest Stupa around inhabited by Tibetan Refugee since 1959AD. The day ends at Kathmandu Durbar Squar where can visti the Living GoddesKumari who appear on the balcony of her temple to greet her devotees, Kastamandap temple (Though now it is under reconstruction process after collapsed in earthquake in 25 April 2014), the temple made out of single tree and named Kathmandu as it was known as Kantipur in earlier times. Kathmandu Durbar Squar cover dozen of temple concluding Kumari temple, Hanuman Dhoka, Maizudewal, Taleju temple, Nautale Durbar, KaalBhairav, freak street and many more.

After Breakfast at 7:00 Am, your journey will begin to Rashuwagadi, after accomplishment of all the immigration and custom formalities then proceed the journey to Kerung.

One day rest in kerung for acclimatization and preparation of hiking. Overnight in kerung

After breakfast you will start your journey to saga through Ghantula pass (5226 meter) and beautiful Bramhaputra River.

Overnight in saga

After breakfast you will start your journey to Mansarovar through dongpamahim la pass and first sight of Holy Kailash Parbat and Mansarovar through beautiful surroundings.

Overnight in Mansarovar

After finishing the holy bath and ritual puja in Mansarovar Lake, we will continue our drive to Darchen which is also known as base camp of Mount Kailash.

Overnight in Darchen.),

After the morning breakfast, the drive will start for about 7 Km by Bus to Yamadwar. The journey of hiking trip starts by walking along the beautiful hills waterfalls and beautiful clear blue sky facing the great view of mount Kailash.

Overnight in Dirapuk

Before Sunrise your journey begins from Derapuk to zuthulpuk passing the highest pass Dolma La pass (of height 5630m) and viewing the holy place gaurikunda on the way. By afternoon you will reach to Zuthulpuk.

Overnight in Zuthulpuk.

The journey of the hiking trip ends after walking for over 2 hours for distance of around 10 km. After morning breakfast you will return to saga by bus.

After morning breakfast your drive will start from saga to Kerung.

Overnight in Kerung

After morning Breakfast your drive will start from Kerung to Kathmandu through Rasuwa-gadhi, after reaching Kathmandu at the evening the Tibet journey will be completed.

Today is your leisure day for cleaning, shopping and sightseeing depends in your interest. If you prefer any specific day tour like cycling, One hour Everest scenic flight early in the morning, City tour by car with guide etc… Just let us know. We will arrange the chosen trip in your favor with appropriate cost.

 

Today, a special Nepalese Dinner is arranged in a typical Nepali Restaurant with culture show and dance of different ethnic group of Nepal.

Overnight in a Boutique Hotel on BB basis.

Transfer from hotel to international airport to board onward journey flight. Or combine with other trip like Sightseeing in UNESCO world heritage site around Kathmandu valley or join the day trip for white water rafting or safari tour at Chitwan Park or any other activities in your favor.  The cost of extended activities will be extra.
