OVERVIEW

Tent Peak (5,695m/18,684ft) locally also introduced with the name of Tharpu Chuli is situated just north-east side from Mt. Machhapuchhere and south-east side of Mt. Annapurna and Annapurna Base Camp. The peak is considered comparatively easier than other peaks in the Annapurna region. This peak was also first climbed by the same climber of Mardi Himal peak, Mr. Jimmy Roberts a researcher climber of middle of 20th century in 1956 A.D. Tharpu Chuli combined with Machhapuchhere and Annapurna Base Camp trekking acclimatizing another trended Apple pie trek Ghorepani Pooh Hill where the magnificent panoramic view of Himalaya able to capture. The major aspect of this trip is a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of three 8000drs Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m) to the west, Mt. Manasalu (8,163m) to the east, and Mt. Annapurna I (8,091m) in the center, standing up on the top of Tent Peak (5,695m) in the lap of Mt. Machhapuchhere (6,993m) and surrounding numerous 7000m and 6000m gained in the trip.

Our Company representative will be standing in front of arrival gate to meets you at Tribhuban International Airport, Kathmandu holding a board of our company SNOWPAL TREK AND EXPEDITION Pvt. Ltd. along with your Name and transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Hotel on BB Basis

After Breakfast first we check all the trekking and Peak climinh equipment and if missing some of trekking/peak climbing gear, we can buy during the sightseeing. Full day sightseeing proceeds to the prominent UNESCO world heritage site to SyambhunathStupa the Buddhist sanctuary said to be nearly 2000 years old. The hill itself is pleasant place overlooking the entire valley of Kathmandu. The all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha painted in prominent blue atop the dome are visible from long distance from around the Kathmandu city. Then proceed to patan durbar squar also call Lalitpur the city full of fine arts. It covers the dozens of temples like Krishna Mandir, Kumbeswor temple, Golden temle. Next site proceed to Pashupatinath Temple the holiest Hindu Temple situated on the bank of sacred holy river Bagmati. Sightseeing continues to the BoudhanathStupa the biggest Stupa around inhabited by Tibetan Refugee since 1959AD. The day ends at Kathmandu Durbar Squar where can visit the Living GoddesKumari who appear on the balcony of her temple to greet her devotees, Kastamandap temple (constructed after collapsed in earthquake in 25 April 2014), the temple made out of single tree and named Kathmandu as it was known as Kantipur in earlier times. Kathmandu Durbar Squar cover dozen of temple concluding Kumari temple, Hanuman Dhoka, Maizudewal, Taleju temple, Nautale Durbar, KaalBhairav, freak street and many more.

We request you to have an early breakfast and be ready exactly at 06:15 in your hotel lobby; guide will pick up you and transfer to the tourist bus station and drive (approximately seven hours with breaks) through the beautiful river view and Nepalese countryside to reach the Pokhara lakeside. Lunch spot on the way to Pokhara and you will be arrived late afternoon at Pokhara approximately 2:00 o’clock. Pokhara lakeside sites walking around, “front row center” to one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world.

After breakfast, we drive to Uleriapprox 3:30 hour along with great scenery of hillside rice field  throughNaudanda, Kande, Nayapul, Hile then uphill drive to Uleri village with the amazing landscape and Annapurna Himalayan view. Our adventure walking adventure begins from here. You may have lunch at Uleri or One hour walk to Banthanthi then have lunch and to ascend Nayathanthi through low land alpine forests. This scenery and amazing walk gives you inner power and immerse you to walk more.

From here the path is gradual on the winding trail through the cool shade of forest and stream sound. We continues walk in the midst of the giant rhododendron forest and finally reach at Ghorepani for overnight stop. GhorepaniDeurali is a busy spot on the ridge in the midst of the beautiful rhododendron forest, offering fantastic views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range. As briefing yesterday evening, we hike to early morning for 40 minutes up to Poon hill and en-route offering the glimpse of aurora walking through the pleasant rhohododendron forest. Poon hill named after the hill tribe Poon, inhabitants of Ghorepani- Shikha village. This is wide range of panoramic scenery from the far western Himalaya of Dolpo, Mt. Dhaulagiri and Annapurna including Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail) and all the way to Manasalu Himalayan range. It is picturesque Himalayan scenery and good memorable moments spending an hour to the top. After a great time return back to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue trek to onward destination, the walk passes through the Rhododendron, pine and fir forest with up and downs hill and finally you will reaches at Tadapani for overnight at local teahouse. This is a great place surrounding by rhododendron forest with closest view of Mt. Fish Tail.

A steep descent takes us to the KimrongKholathrough the forested path approximately 2 hours. Then gradually ascend while and then it’s a gentle walk to Chhomorong. Chhomorong is a beautiful village located on the lap of the gaint Annapurna massive.

Breakfast served in the morning at 7AM. Start your journey to Himalaya approximately 8:00AM. From Chhomrung the trail descends on 2500 stone staircase and cross the ChhomrungKhola. Climbing high above the ModiKhola on its west banks, the trails passes through forest of bamboo, rhododendron and oak. Climbing further on a rocky trail you reach at Sinuwa, 2250metres. The trails continues rhododendrons forest, climb Kuldi. From Kuldi, the trails descends a long steep stone staircase into deep bamboo and rhododendron forests, then short distance on a muddy trail to Bamboo and time for Lunch. From Bamboo the trail climbs steeply through stands of bamboo, occasionally dropping slightly to cross the tributary streams, its take approximately one hours trek to Dovan.

We pass through the bamboo forest which is damp and cold then ascend steadily with a few steep sections. It is only after reaching Himalaya Hotel that the forest opens up and we are out in the sun again with astounding views of the glacial river below. Overnight at Himalaya.

It is a steep climb up through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. From here we can see the trail drop closer to the river before climbing again to Deurali, the most scenic stretch of the day. The vegetation is sparse, allowing magical views of the valley, the river below, and the sheer rock-face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls.

Climb gently through a river bed then over a steep trail over to the mountain side. The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is somewhat strenuous. From Machhapuchhre Base camp we get excellent views of the Majestic Mt. Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hinchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Ganggapurna which is certainly a rewarding experience. The vegetation disappears on the way to ABC and the path widens as we enter the Annapurna Sanctuary. From here, we get sensational views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna towering above us. The Sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding the 3600-digree panorama. We again get to savor mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchhre. Overnight at Machhapuchhere Base Camp.

Being of the early morning wake up and climb to view point spot where you can see the first rays of sunlight bouncing over the mountains giving them a beautiful tinge of orange and red. Today, we mostly walking  on snow visit nearby ABC 4, 130m for spectacular 3600 view of majesty Himalaya including Annapurna massif, Mt. Machhapuchhere (6,997m), Hiunchuli (6,441m), and so on will captured in your camera. Straight ahead is the high lateral moraine. Then, we retrace our steps to Machhapuchhere Base Camp after Breakfast at ABC. Today is not rush, It is also a acclimatization day to climb our ultimate destination Mt. Tent Peak/TharpuChuli.

Tent peak base camp is quite rocky flat walk through Annapurna moraines Glacier. Geography of this area is really stunning such as on high altitude. There might be some others expedition teams too. After lunch, we will take a climbing introduction course by your guide.

The rocky steep path ascent to high camp need much caution without any disturb of Panoramic views of Mt. Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna Southh (7,229m), Machhapuchhere (6,997m). The rest of the day after setting up the tents and camp site, you will practice the climbing equipment and gear for the following day climb of TharpuChuli.

Overnight in Tended Camp

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

The day start very early in the morning after midnight for our final goal. You will cross a small streams walking on glacier way to the summit. You will climb using the fixed rope. The outstanding view from summit feel ecstatic days’ worth of your hard work have finally paid off offered blissful views of whole Annapurna region. You will be engaged enjoying glorious moment capturing memorable moment in your camera. Retrace back to Base camp after a memorable time on summit.

Overnight in Tended Camp

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Sometime because of favorable weather and health conditions will not allow achieving our goal. So this is the day especially considered as contingency so that being able to climb the summit on the targeted day can be compensated. This day will not be considered if no any barriers arise.

Overnight in Tended Camp

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Gradual descents and walking down the retracing trail  further below with wonderful moraines at the beginning and variety of flora with beautiful alpine forest blooming rhododendron if you are there in spring season, we reach the days’ destination at Deurali and enjoy the beauty of nature in the lap of Annapurna south and Hiunchuli.

After Breakfast we retrace again the same way following the similar scenery of lush landscape and dense forest we will make our way to Himalaya, Bamboo and Dovanthen it is an uphill trek to Kuldighar(2,360m/7,742ft). The trails continue in rhododendrons forests down to Sinuwa, (2250m/7,381ft) for the overnight.

From Sinuwa gradually descend to a stream, Continue retracing to trail is down till ModiKhola. After passes the river, the trail climb steep way approximately one and half hour to Chhomrung. Then continue descend to Jhinudanda. Today we will have an opportunity to enjoy the hot springs which is just a 15-20 minute Walk down at the bank of glacial ModiKhola to soothe our aching body by natural hot spring.

These days because of road extension, 4WD Jeep will be waiting at the distance of 1:30 hour walk from Jhinudanda.  We start to do off road driving along with the amazing hilly landscape views of western Nepal. You will arrivePokhara before lunch. After lunch you will have full leisure day to relax at your hotel after long walk and drive.

Overnight Pokhara hotel on BB Basis.

Explore the second largest city of Nepal dominated by the peaks of Annapurna range. Pokhara(931m/3,054ft) is only fifty kilometers from Annapurna (8,091 meters) clearly seen from the valley. The prominent peaks from east to west are Annapurna South (7,219m), VarahaShikhar (7,647m.) Annapurna I (8,091m.), Khangsar Kang (7,485 m), Tarke Kang (7, 193m) Gangapurna (7,455), Annapurna III (7,555m ), Machhapuchhre (6,997m), Annapurna IV (7,525m), Annapurna II(7,937m) and LamjungHimal (6,983m). In addition to these Dhaulagiri I can be seen to the north- west and Manaslu and Himalchuli to the north –east.

Main Sightseeing spot and focused program,

Drive to world peace pogada and on the way back travel to David’s fall and see the Hindu shrine at GupteshowMahadiv Cave. Go to SetiGandaki Gorge, and in the evening boating in the Phewa Lake than visit to a temple dedicated to Varahi temple on a small island, where devotees go for their worship. Explore the Mountain Museum, local tribal museum.

Fly back to Kathmandu

After sightseen in Pokhara we take a 30-minute flight to return back to Kathmandu. Different air company operating several flights to Kathmandu daily. Passenger May carry 25kg as normal luggage and a carry-on bag of 5kg hand carry. A small bag or laptop bag is considered a hand carry bag but should not exceed 5kg. Excess baggage will be charged at the rate of Rs 75 per kg. All Passenger are required to present their passport (for foreigners) and citizenship or driving license (for Nepali citizens) at the check-in counter. Most planes have a seating capacity of 29/30 person and are equipped with toilet facilities. Passengers are required to arrive at the airport at least an hour before of departure time. Because of unavoidable circumstance/situations, flight can be delays/cancelled which airline will inform via e-mail or call and we inform our guest but last-minute delays due to weather conditions will be known only at the airport. If the passengers cancel the flight, there will be a charge of 10% for cancellations made 7 day prior to departure date on normal and residential fare. If the cancellation made on the same day at least 6 hours before of departure time are subject to a 50% charge while a no snow merits No Refund. It is also famous for numerous pagoda style temples which you can see even far from distance. After sightseeing in Bhaktapur, We have organized a  farewell dinner party in Kathmandu including your staff who were during your trek and peak climbing.

The mentioned itinerary is supposed today is the end day of your adventure to Nepal for this time.
