Kathmandu – Patan- Bhaktapur- Nagarkot – Rafting –Chitwan park – Pokhara

In the morning one hour Everest flight (Mountain flight). Then we will have breakfast and full day Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley- the most popular place in the kingdom was known as kantipur in earlier times. The tour highlighter are the living Goddess “ Kumari” who appear on the balcony of her temple to greet her devotes, Kastamandup temple, the temple made out of single tree and name Kathmandu is derived from, Durbar square and drive to swyambhu Nath which lies on top of hill is the Buddhist sanctuary said to be nearly 2000 years old. The hill itself is pleasant place overlooking the entire valley of Kathmandu. The all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha painted in prominent blue atop the dome are visible from long distance from around the Kathmandu.

After breakfast, Patan city of fines arts and crafts. It is in this town that world famous brass, bronze and copperware works are done, all by hand made. The tour highlights are Shikhara style Krishna Mandir, Patan Durbar Square, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, the golden roofed Buddhist Monastery, Mahaboudha temple, the temple of thousand Buddha and visit to Industrial estate and Tibetan handicraft center where one can see a live demonstration of carpet weaving by hand. After noon Sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur, the best restored of the medieval Royal cities of the valley. The Sight-seeing tour includes the famous “Golden Gate” “place of 55 windows” and the “Nyatapola Temple” the valley’s tallest Temple and drive to Changunarayan considered to be the oldest temple extant in Kathmandu valley, the temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and was built in 323 A.D. by King Hari Dutta Malla. The temple is richly decorated with sculptures and carvings. There after proceed to Nagarkot hilltop for close views of the Himalayas Mountains. Overnight at Nagarkot Hotel.

Drive to Charaudi for 3 hours, the rafting put –in-point then we will meet our raft crew. The leader of the raft will give short briefing on safety procedure. With a  whole day we encounter several big –small rapids but the main interesting one are after Majhimtar which is just before the “upset” rapid and according to the Colorado river rating scale this rapid has been rated from 3 to 4. All tricky rapids bear Nepali name as well as common names, which will be told by the rafter. Lunch will be served on the beach of the river just before going through the Upset rapids. Shortly after lunch we will encounter another rapid known as “surprise”. It is indeed, for the current accelerates and the rapids increase in size and frequency. Overnight at Pokahra.

After Breakfast full day sightseeing in Pokhara, over night at Pokhara.

Drive to Royal Chitwan National Park, which takes about four hour drive. Arrive Chitwan and transfer to Rainbow Safari Resort. Upon arrival briefing about activities and facilities, After Lunch naturalist will take you culture tour to Tharu village, Museum tour, sun set tour in the evening, Tharu stick dance overnight at Rainbow Safari Resort.

Whole day jungle activities which include elephant ride, canoe, bird watching, nature walk, visit to elephant breeding center, Tharu Village, jeep drive etc. Overnight at Rainbow Safari Resort.

After Breakfast drive back to Kathmandu transfer to hotel. Afternoon leisure time for individual activities.

Transfer from hotel to International Airport to board onward journey flight.
