In this tour we take you for two days sightseeing of Kathmandu’s historic places and to view the mountains from Nagarkot. This tour is recommended for short but pleasure to stay. These tours can be combined as transit tours to any other destinations such as Tibet, Bhutan or Sikkim. Accommodation is available from deluxe 5 star hotels to normal budget hotels and the price varies accordingly.

Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International airport in Kathmandu, meet our airport representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu.

In the morning one- hour Everest flight (Mountain flight). Then we will have breakfast and full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, the most popular place in the kingdom was known as Kantipur in earlier times. The tour highlights are the Living Goddess “ Kumari” who appear on the balcony of her temple to greet her devotes, Kastamandap temple, the temple made out of single tree and name Kathmandu is derived from durbar square and drive to Soyambhunath which lies on top of hill is the Buddhist sanctuary said to be nearly 2000 years old. The hill itself is pleasant place overlooking the entire valley of Kathmandu. The all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha painted in prominent blue atop the dome are visible from long distance from around the Kathmandu city.

After breakfast, Patan city of fine arts and crafts. It is in this town that world famous brass, bronze and copperware works are done all by hand. The tour highlights are Shikhara style Krishna Mandir, Patan Durbar Square. Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, the golden roofed Buddhist Monastery, Mahaboudha Temple, the temple of thousand Buddha and visit to Indurstiral estate and Tibetan handicraft Center where one can see a live demonstration of carpet weaving by hand. After noon Sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur, the best restored of the medieval Royal cities of the valley. The Sight –seeing tour includes the famous “Golden Gate” “palace of 55 windows” and the “Nyatapola Temple” the valley’s tallest temple and drive to Changunarayan considered to be the oldest temple extant in Kathmandu valley, the temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and was built in 323 A.D. by King Hari Dutta Malla. The temple is richly decorated with sculptures and carvings. There after will proceed to Nagarkot hilltop for close views of the Himalayan Mountains. Overnight at Nagarkot hotel.
