OVERVIEW

Fulharui Gumba: Located in the village of Fulbari, this gumba is also known as the Tharlam Monastery. It was established in the 1960s by Tibetan refugees and offers a serene environment for meditation and prayer.

Amitabh Gumba: Also known as the Amitabha Monastery, this gumba is located in a peaceful forested area in the north of Kathmandu. It is a relatively new monastery, established in the 1970s, and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Kapan Gumba: This gumba is located on a hilltop to the north of Kathmandu and is one of the most important Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in the Kathmandu Valley. It was established in the 1970s and has a large community of monks.
