The Manang Tilicho Lake Jeep Tour is a thrilling adventure that takes you through some of the most stunning landscapes in Nepal. The journey starts from Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, and takes you through winding roads, steep cliffs, and rugged terrain.
As you leave Kathmandu, you will pass through the scenic countryside, with its verdant hills, terraced fields, and charming villages. You will get a glimpse of the daily life of the Nepalese people, as you see them working on their farms, tending their livestock, and going about their business.
As you continue on your journey, the scenery will become more rugged and dramatic, as you climb higher and higher into the Himalayan mountains. You will cross steep gorges, traverse narrow mountain roads, and pass through dense forests of rhododendron and pine.
As you approach the town of Chame, the landscape will change again, with the towering peaks of the Annapurna range coming into view. You will drive through the town, with its colorful markets, teahouses, and guesthouses, and head further into the mountains.
As you reach the town of Manang, you will be at an altitude of 3,540 meters (11,614 feet), and the air will be noticeably thinner. This is a good time to take a rest day and acclimatize to the altitude, as you explore the town and the surrounding area.
The next day, you will start your journey to Tilicho Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world. The road is steep and rocky, and you will need a sturdy jeep to navigate it. As you climb higher, the views will become more spectacular, with snow-capped peaks looming in the distance.
As you approach Tilicho Base Camp, you will be at an altitude of 4,200 meters (13,779 feet), and the air will be even thinner. This is a good time to take it easy and prepare for the hike to the lake the next day.
The hike to Tilicho Lake is a challenging one, with steep climbs and treacherous terrain. But the views are absolutely breathtaking, with the turquoise waters of the lake surrounded by towering mountains and glaciers.
After spending some time at the lake, you will hike back to Tilicho Base Camp and spend the night there, before starting your journey back to Kathmandu.
As you drive back through the mountains, you will have a chance to reflect on the incredible journey you have just undertaken. You will have seen some of the most stunning landscapes in Nepal, and experienced the unique culture and hospitality of the Nepalese people.

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to the hotel in Kathmandu. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city or relaxing at the hotel.
After breakfast, we will drive to Besishahar in a private jeep, which takes around 6-7 hours. The route goes along the Trishuli River, passing through beautiful landscapes, terraced fields, and small villages. We will stay overnight at a guesthouse in Besishahar.
Today, we will drive from Besishahar to Chame in a jeep, which takes around 4-5 hours. The road is bumpy and windy, but the scenic views of the Himalayan ranges and the Marsyangdi River are worth it. We will stay overnight at a guesthouse in Chame.
Drive to Manang (3,540m/11,614ft) – 55 km/3-4 hours After breakfast, we will continue our jeep ride to Manang, which takes around 3-4 hours. Along the way, we will pass through forests, waterfalls, and narrow gorges. As we ascend higher, we will start to see the snow-capped peaks of the Annapurna and Gangapurna ranges. We will stay overnight at a guesthouse in Manang.
oday, we will take a rest day in Manang to acclimatize to the high altitude. We can explore the village, visit the local monastery, or hike up to Gangapurna Lake. This will help us prepare for the next day’s drive to Tilicho Lake.
After breakfast, we will start our jeep ride to Tilicho Base Camp, which takes around 2-3 hours. The road is rough and rocky, but the views of the Himalayan peaks are spectacular. We will stay overnight at a guesthouse in Tilicho Base Camp.
Today, we will hike to Tilicho Lake, which is one of the highest lakes in the world. The trail is steep and strenuous, but the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains are breathtaking. After spending some time at the lake, we will hike back to the base camp and stay overnight.
After breakfast, we will start our jeep ride back to Chame, which takes around 4-5 hours. We will retrace our steps through the scenic landscape and enjoy the last views of the Annapurna range. We will stay overnight at a guesthouse in Chame.
Today, we will drive back to Kathmandu in a private jeep, which takes around 8-9 hours. We will pass through beautiful hills, forests, and small towns
