After breakfast visit to Department of Ministry of Tourism for orientation briefing class for climbing and expedition rule/regulation of Nepal and return to hotel for all type of equipments details review/checking,  if missing bits of clothing and equipments or any type of needs goods, we will go for last shopping. If still time remaining we may go someplace for sightseeing.

Breakfast served in the early morning and drive to Kathmandu airport for your domestic flight to Lukla. It’s takes approximately 25 minutes. There’ll be time to explore the village whilst the Sherpa crew sort and load equipment. From Lukla we descend on a wide trail northwest to the village of Chomlung in the Dudh Kosi valley. The valley radiates energy through beautiful pine and rhododendron forest. The walking is easy and we follow the river’s course, passing through the village of Ghat. Our destination is the small village of Phakding.

After the breakfast, we start our journey to Namche Bazaar, from Phakding we head up valley on a busy trail. Continue along beside the Dudh Kosi amongst beautiful alpine scenery, through the fragrant blue pine and fir forest, glimpsing spectacular views of Kusum Kangru (6369m) and Thanserku (6608m) along the way. Our lunch spot in Monjo, Leaving Monjo, we again cross the Dudh Kosi, to the western bank at Jorsale prior to trekking through the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park. Continuing upstream along the banks to the confluence of the Bhote Kosi and Dudh Kosi, it is here we begin our first sustained ascent to Namche Bazaar after crossing the large suspension bridge. Walking at a slow pace, we have a fantastic photographic opportunities as the peaks of Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8511m), Nuptse (7879m), Ama Dablam (6856m) and Taweche (6542m) come into view for the first time. Climbing again, the path takes us through pine trees to reach the distinctive horse- shoe shaped bowl containing the village of Namche Bazaar. Stay in the heart of the village, with the afternoon free to bargain in the shops for “Tibeta artifacts, relax over a cup of tea and talk with our experienced Trekking guides and simply marvel at the beautiful scenery.

Full day to acclimatize Exploring Namche and Sherpa culture. Wake up early in the morning and  climb to the ridge above Namche will be rewarded with the stunning sunrise over the panorama of the Khumbu peaks. Namche is famous for its local market or bazaar. Each week, Sherpas from the surrounding villages come to buy food and to socialize. Any food not grown locally, such as rice, corn and some vegetables is brought in from the lowland village, which can be up to a 6-10 day walk from Jiri. Spend the morning exploring this colorful and lovely spectacle. Perhaps walk along the Thame Valley in the afternoon or visit the National Park Headquarters to see the interesting displays of Sherpa lifestyle and culture, mountaineering in the park, flora and fauna.

After Breakfst we trek out of the village bowl and follow a small trail high above the Dudh Kosi River, where the views are incredible, behind to the west, the ridge of Nupla and Kwangde Himal (6194m), across the valley to the south, the towering ice- fluted walls of Thamserku (6623m), and Everest looms above ridge, a black triangular rock, “Sagarmatha.” On a small ridge across the valley, the monastery of Thyangboche can be seen, a  against the gigantic mountain background. Ascending towards Khumjung, visit the Everest View Hotel on route, where coffee or hot chocolate and views of Everest are the order of the day! We descend to Khumjung and after staying in the more westernized town of Namche Bazaar, these village make a welcome change. Here tourism has hardly changed the life of the Sherpas. The afternoon has been left free to assist with further acclimatization.

After breakfast, we descend to the west of the village down the broad valley leading to the Dudh Kosi River. The Gokyo route is turn north, climbing above the more frequented route to Tengboche and Everest Base Camp. This ridge descends from Khumbila(5716m), above the patron god of the Khumbu. From the ridge, the trails descend in a series of steep switchbacks down a sandy slope to the Dudh Koshi and we’ll arrive in Phortse Thanghka.

The trails climbs steeply out of the valley through rhododendron forests which give way to fragrant stands of juniper and large conifers as the elevation increases. This trek is especially beautiful in spring when the rhododendron are blooming. The trails passes many kharkas, summer settlements used when Sherpas bring herds of yaks to graze in these high pastures. The route passes through the settlements of Tongba (3950m) and Gyele (3960m) to Dole where there’re few hotels and also Dole National Park check post. The views of Khumbila and Twachee (6542m) are tremendous throughout day, and it is possible to climb a ridge behind Dole for an even broader view up and down the valley.

From Dole the trail climbs to Lambara at 4330m and Luza at 4360m. The trails is steep in most places as it climbs through all the kharkas on this side of valley. The trails continue to climb along the side of the valley, high above the river, crossing sandy spurs to Machhermo at 4470 meters. It was in Machhermo in 1974 that Yeti killed three yaks and attached a Sherpa woman. This is the most credit yeti incident ever reported, so be watchful as you visit this reason may encounter with Yeti.

The trail climbs a ridge for an excellent view both down the valley to Kantega and up towards Cho Oyu (8153m). Beyond the ridge the valley widens as the trail passes through Pangka at 4390m then descends to the river bank before beginning of climb on to the terminal moraine of the Noozumpa Glacier. It’s a steep climb up the moraine, switch backing alongside the stream to the first small lake at 4650m, where a family of green Braminy ducks resides. The trail now becomes almost level at 4690m and finally Gokyo at 4790m.

After breakfast, trek around Gokyo Ri the views in the Gokyo region are tremendous. For the best view, climb to Gokyo Ri Gokyo-Ri (5357m/17575ft)   the small peak above the lake. This peaks of 5357m, it’s a 2 hours climb to the top of the peak, providing a panoramic view of Cho Oyu (8201m) Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), Makalu (8468m) many more snow caped mountain surrounding. Those with more time and energy can make a trip up the valley to another lake marked with the name Noozumpa on the maps or even beyond to a fifth lake. There’re several small peaks in this region that offer vantage points for the surrounding peaks.

From Gokyo we start to walk to the direction of Mt. Gyachung Kang Base camp. Up to Gokyo there are plenty of tourist to go to Everest Base camp or just for Gokyo lake trekking. Gachung Kang Base camp is quite isolation and almost no more people than who proceed for expedition. So we need our own camping equipments and kitchen utilities. Our Nepalese supporting team make camp site and food for the tam.

Just after 3-4 hour walk we arrived at Gyachung Kang Base camp. This Base Camp will be fixed all the time during Expedition. We provide very professional, helpful and friendly service from Kathmandu to the base camp as well as during the climb. In the base camp our cooks and helpers will prepare and serve three delicious freshly cooked and plentiful meals all the day. In the base camp we provide spacious expedition quality personal tents for all our clients both with full board or base – camp service only. In base camp we also provide dining tent, kitchen tent, toilet facilities and portable shower facilities and tent accommodation for our staff. In base camp we provide access to communication including satellite telephone and, solar panels to charge your batteries and UHF/VHF hand held radios on the mountain to maintain communications between base camp and high camps. Our camp manager as well as guides and climbing Sherpa’s have an extensive experience on multiple mountain climber including Everest more than 4 times. They will ensure cooperation and base camp organization. In base camp our guides will work to ensure the safety of climbing from base camp to the summit.
