Panoramic View of Himalaya

Panoramic magnificent view of Himalaya and sun rise from Poon Hill is the main attraction of this trip. This is wide range of panoramic scenery from The far western Himalaya of Dolpo, Mt. Flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu

We take a 25-minute flight to return back to Kathmandu. Different Air Company operating several flights to Kathmandu daily. Passenger May carry 15kg as normal luggage and a carry-on bag of 5kg hand carry. A small bag or laptop bag is considered a hand carry bag but should not exceed 5kg. Excess baggage will be charged at the rate of Rs 75 per kg. All Passenger are required to present their passport (for foreigners) and citizenship or driving license (for Nepali citizens) at the check-in counter. Most plane have a seating capacity of 29/30 person and is equipped with toilet facilities. Passengers are required to arrive at the airport at least an hour before of departure time. Because of unavoidable circumstance/situations, flight can be delays/cancelled which airline will inform via e-mail or call and we inform our guest but last-minute delays due to weather conditions will be known only at the airport. If the passengers cancel the flight, there will be a charge of 10% for cancellations made 7 day prior to departure date on normal and residential fare. If the cancellation made on the same day at least 6 hours before of departure time are subject to a 50% charge while a no snow merits No Refund. ITINENARY

Itinerary of Nepal Tour and Trekking 14 Days

This is the day of your arrival in Kathmandu airport (TIA). Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International airport in Kathmandu, we welcome our valuable guest with garlands /bouquets of flowers and transfer to the Hattiban Resort. There will be 15 sitter van with the carrier on top to carry trunks/bags. Check in hotel after welcome drinks and 30 minute refreshment at room then lunch at Hattiban Restaurant then sightseeing Pharping Gumba.

Hattiban Resort:

Hattiban Resort has been running for 30 years since 1993 with the facilities of hot / cold water, Wifi, Restaurant with Nepali Thali to Indian and continental cuisine. It is 26km. south from the Kathmandu downtown. Located among Serenity, lush green gardens, independent cottages on a breezy pine forest ridge seemingly far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, the closest mountain resort from Kathmandu valley. The resort offers the best view of snow-capped Himalayan Mountains from Langtang Himalayan range till Number Himal near Mt. Everest and view of Kathmandu valley below.

 

Dakshinkali and Pharping:

Dakshinkali temple a Hindu pilgrims site and Pharping Gumba a famous Buddhist shrine are very holy place alike. Dakshinkali offers prayers and  animal sacrifices as well as Pharping Monasteries offers Nunneries and Buddhist cultures with its traditions. It is also a paradise for bird lovers.  Drive back to Hattiban Resort and a Short brief of next day trip then Dinner and Overnight at Hattiban Resort.

After breakfast, approximately 1:30 drive to Bhaktapur.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square: This Square is an open museum holding exciting palace, courtyards, royal bath, sculptures, pagodas, Shikhara style temples and Buddhist monastery along with exclusive architecture. In other words, this is the most beautiful Durbar you visit in your Nepal tours. Though 1934 earthquake brought bad luck to its structure, still the remaining monuments are the finest examples of the medieval excellence. Just near the square, you will visit the traditional painting School, the dying art of Nepal which is the best souvenir from Nepal. Besides palace complex, five storied temple with most appreciated architecture, the Pottery Square, Dattatraya Square and Peacock window are some other things to see in Bhaktapur. Later drive to Nagarkot;

Nagarkot:  (32km east of Kathmandu, 2300m above seal-level), this scenic spot, with a spectacular view of the sunset and Mount Everest can be seen on a clear day. In the evening, enjoy the sunset of the Himalayan at Nagarkot, Nagarkot commands one of the broadest views of the Himalayas in the Kathmandu valley (8 Mountain over 8000m of Nepal out of 13 from here). The ranges include Annapurna range, Manaslu range, Ganesh himal range, Langtang range, Jugal range, Rolwaling range, Mahalangur range (Everest range) and Numbur range with views of the Kathmandu valley and Shivapuri National Park. Changu Narayan:

The temple of Changu Narayan considered as oldest temple found till the date in Nepal and dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This temple is in 16km from Kathmandu between Nagarkot and Kathmandu situated on the top of a small hill with the view of country side of Kathmandu valley. After lunch at Changu Narayan we drive back to Kathmandu. Dinner some specific Restaurant and Overnight at Kathmandu.

Patan Durbar Square: The city lies about 5 kms from the Kathmandu. It is a city of Buddhist monuments, Hindu temples and fine wood carvings. Lalitpur is another name of this city which ‘means the city of beauty’. The city is known as the paradise of fine arts. Patan durbar square located in Patan and is World Heritage Site a Patan Durbar has many famous sites and unique architectures. Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen temple, Hiranya Varna Mahabhihar are just a few among the temples offering you an ecstasy of paintings, wood and metal carvings. The Sundari Chowk contains exquisite samples of woodcarvings, stone and metal sculpture.

Patan Dubar Square and the Himalaya that can be seen at a distance make an enchanting scene.

Pashupatinath Temple: (3Km Northwest of Kathmandu) with its astonishing architectural beauty, stands as a symbol of faith, religion, culture and tradition. Pashupatinath is regarded as one of the most sacred temple of Hindu Lord Shiva in the world and its existence dates back to 400 A.D. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga or phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world come to pay homage to this temple that is also known as ‘The Temple of Living Beings’. Only the Hindus are allowed to go inside the temple.

Boudhanath Stupa (or Bodnath Stupa): is the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It is the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and rich in Buddhist symbolism. The stupa is located in the town of Boudha, on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu. Bodnath was probably built in the 14th century after the Mughal invasions; various interesting legends are told regarding the reasons for its construction. After the arrival of thousands of Tibetans following the 1959 Chinese invasion, the temple has become one of the most important centers of Tibetan Buddhism. Today it remains an important place of pilgrimage and meditation for Tibetan Buddhists and local Nepalis, as well as a popular tourist

site.

Swayambhunath: Perched on a hilltop on the south western part of Kathmandu, Swayambhunath is one of the most important religious and cultural sites in Nepal and is associated with the birth of the Kathmandu Valley civilization. Approximately 2000 years old, Swayambhunath stupa, is a dome 20 meters in diameter and 32 meters high and is made of brick and earth mounted by a conical spire capped by a pinnacle of golden gilt. It is surrounded by many other smaller temples and places of religious importance for both Hindus and Buddhists, a perfect example of the symbiotic coexistence of different religious beliefs only found in Nepal. The hill is heavily wooded on all sides with indigenous plant species, and troops of monkeys, giving it the nick name of Monkey Temple. The height of Swayambhunath also makes it a good vantage point and on clear sunny days one can see the Himalayas all the way to the east.

Kathmandu City: Kathmandu Valley, the capital and heart of the country essentially symbolizes all that is Nepal. Katmandu Durbar Square where you will visit Hanuman Dhoka, the old and historic palace of Kathmandu named after monkey God, Hanuman. It is historic seat of royalty. Within the walking distance you will find the tall temple of Taleju from 1549 AD, the large stone statue of Kal Bhairav, the God of destruction. The Big Bell and Big Drum and Hindu Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati peeping from window. Visit the temple of Kumari, the residence of Living Goddess within the vicinity. Kumari means the virgin girl. The girl is selected from Buddhist family. The building has profusely carved wooden balconies and window screen. Next a very interesting temple is Kasthamandap which is believed to be built from a single tree trunk and the name Katmandu is derived from this temple which is under construction after the big earthquake in 2015. 12:30 Lunch on the way to Pokhara

Early breakfast at the hotel, Pick up you to the Pokhara bus station. Tourist standard comfortable bus drive early in the morning about 7 hours to arrive in Pokhara. On the driving way to Pokhara, Beautiful farming land terrace, rivers, uncountable green hill mountain with villages of different ethnic group of people are the scenic views. Pokhara located in the Midwest of Nepal has many natural lakes overwhelming with the view of snow caped mountain. Great view of the Himalaya can be seen from the dam side/ south part of Pokhara though lake side has huge density with touristic facilities. Overnight in Pokhara.

 

Pokhara city to Sarangkot hill top is just 6km in distance and it takes 45 minutes drive. its attraction is magnificent view of three 8000 meters mountain Mt. Dhaulagiri 8167m, Mt. Manasalu 8153m, Mt. Annapurna 8091m, Mt. Fishtail and numerous snow capped  towering toward the sky mountain’s panoramic supper view along with the stunning sight of sunrise leading the national and international visitors inwards into the mystery of creation. 04:55   our driver will attend with the vehicle in your hotel. Make a full charge of your camera’s battery and do not forget to keep your camera in your day bag.

06:00   When the vehicle is parked, we need to climb few hundred meters to arrive the view tower of Sarangkot hill top. A hot cup of tea or coffee will be served to everyone by our guide. Enjoy the gorgeous mountain vista painted in different color by the stunning sunrise ahead. You will have dozen of lifetime photographs in an hour.

07:20   we descend to ride vehicle return back to your hotel in Pokhara.

08:00   you will have your breakfast at the hotel.

09:15   A full day sightseeing in Pokhara.

Sightseeing in Pokhara:

Explore the second largest city of Nepal dominated by the peaks of Annapurna range. Pokhara (931m/3,054ft), is only fifty kilometers from Annapurna (8,091 meters) clearly seen from the valley. The prominent peaks from east to west are Annapurna South (7,219m), Varaha Shikhar (7,647m.) Annapurna I (8,091m.), Khangsar Kang (7,485 m), Tarke Kang (7, 193m) Gangapurna (7,455), Annapurna III (7,555m ), Machhapuchhre (6,997m), Annapurna IV (7,525m), Annapurna II(7,937m) and Lamjung Himal (6,983m). In addition to these Dhaulagiri I can be seen to the north- west and Manaslu and Himalchuli to the north –east.

Main Sightseeing spot and focused program,

Drive to world peace pogada and on the way back travel to David’s fall and see the Hindu shrine at Gupteshow Mahadiv Cave. Go to Seti Gandaki Gorge, Old bazaar, Mahendra cave and in the evening boating in the Phewa Lake than visit to a temple dedicated to Varahi temple on a small island, where devotees go for their worship. Explore the Mountain Museum, local tribals museum. Get the spectacular views of the Himalaya. Dinner some special restaurant in Lake side and overnight at hotel.

07:30: Pick up from hotel and drive to Nayapul

This day morning, a short drive (90 minutes) continues along with the great scenery passing through several countryside villages all the way up to Nayapul, where from our adventure begins from the warm sub tropical region and follows the Modi River to Birethanti where you can see the confluence of the two river of Modi and Bhurungdi Khola. We trek to Bhurungdi Khola with scenery of waterfall, high green forest and follow the stabilized trail and after 3-4 hrs continuing walk will reach at Tikhedhunga village for overnight stay, where you can enjoy the cool splash of the cascading waterfalls.

07:30: Start to walk to Ghorepani.

Morning we prepare for the long uphill and start with steeply ascends on the long steps to Ulleri village with the amazing landscape and Annapurna Himalayan scenery. This scenery gives you inner power to climb up these steps and immerse you to walk more. After few hours of long hard climb with several breaks in between reaching at Ulleri village, from here the path is gradual on the winding trail through the cool shade of forest and stream sound. We continues walk in the midst of the giant rhododendron forest and finally reach at Ghorepani for over night stop. Ghorepani Deurali is a busy spot on the ridge in the midst of the beautiful rhododendron forest, offering fantastic views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range. Our trek leader will brief you for your Poon hill hike and remaining program.

04:45: Wake up call.

07:00: Breakfast at Hotel.

08:00: Trekking start to Tadapani.

As briefing yesterday evening, we hike to early morning for 40 minutes up to Poon hill and en-route offering the glimpse of aurora walking through the pleasant rhohododendron forest. Poon hill named after the hill tribe Poon, inhabitants of Ghorepani- Shikha village. This is wide range of panoramic scenery from the far western Himalaya of Dolpo, Mt. Dhaulagiri and Annapurna including Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail) and all the way to Manasalu Himalayan range. It is picturesque Himalayan scenery and good memorable moments spending an hour to the top. After a great time return back to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue trek to onward destination, the walk passes through the Rhododendron, pine and fir forest with up and downs hill and finally you will reaches at Tadapani for overnight at local teahouse. This is a great place surrounding by rhododendron forest with closest view of Mt. Fish Tail.

07:30: Trekking start to Jhinudanda

As usual early wake up and after breakfast we start a steep downhill until the Kimrung khola and cross the suspension bridge to arrive Gurjung village. Lunch will be at Gurjung. Then we walk on wave style approximately one hour to Chhomrong the gate way to Annapurna Base Camp. From Chhomrong again we descend steeply one more hour to Jhinudanda. After checking in a mountain lodge and few rest, we walk down again about 20 minutes to the hot spring on the bank of Modhi River come from Annapurna Base camp glacier.  Overnight at Jhinudanda.

06:30: Breakfast at Hotel.

07:30: Trekking to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara.

After breakfast, we cross a small stream and walk about one hour up to a place called New Bridge then we continue follow the Modhi river up to Biretanthi where we will take lunch. Then retrace about 45 minutes to Nayapul where our vehicle will be waiting us to drive back to Pokhara. Dinner in some special restaurant and overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Today is leisure day on your choice either want to do some day trip like Everest view mountain flight by Aeroplan, or Sightseeing by car around city and shopping.

Transfer from hotel to international airport to board onward journey flight. Or combine with other trip like Sightseeing in UNESCO world heritage site around Kathmandu valley or join the day trip for white water rafting or safari tour at Chitwan Park or any other activities in your favor.  The cost of extended activities will be extra.

  • The Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) permit is also included. In addition, the Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS) permit is required to track travelers and ensure their safety while in remote areas.
  • The tour is led by a professional and licensed English-speaking guide who provides information and assistance throughout the trip. The guide’s expenses, including food, accommodation, salary, and necessary equipment, are covered in the package. Having a knowledgeable guide helps travelers understand the region’s history and culture, navigate the terrain, and feel comfortable during the tour.

If travelers arrive early, depart late, or return before the scheduled itinerary, extra nights in Kathmandu or Pokhara will come at an additional cost.
  • During the tour, there may be local community fees ranging from USD 5 to USD 20 per visitor. These fees support community development projects. Personal expenses such as bottled drinks, laundry services, internet access, and charging electronic devices are not included. Travelers should also bring their own clothing and packing essentials.   • This trip does not require any specific season however From March to May, the weather remains pleasant with clear skies, making it an ideal time for sightseeing and photography. The autumn months from September to November also offer favorable conditions, with crisp air and stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. These seasons are particularly popular because the roads are in better condition, and the visibility of the Himalayan peaks remains excellent view. The monsoon season, which lasts from June to August, is not as problematic in for glimpse of Nepal and Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking as it is in other parts of Nepal because the region falls in a rain-shadow area. However, occasional road challenges due to landslides in lower Mustang can occur. Winter, from December to February, brings colder temperatures and occasional snowfall, which may make travel more difficult, but it also offers a quieter and more peaceful experience for those who enjoy solitude.
  • Travelers need Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) to visit this region. The process of obtaining permits is handled by our company making it convenient for you. Visitors should also be aware that independent travel is not allowed in every part of Nepal. There are some protected area you need another special permits like Upper Mustang, Upper Dolpo, Manasalu, Kanchenjunga, Lower Dolpa, Himla Simikot however Everest, Annapurna and Langtang area are not provident for solo trekkers too.
