Otherwise called Annapurna Base Camp trek, this two weeks program bears a fine chance to encircle oneself with major Himalayan tops, in a moderately limited ability to focus time, without contending with extraordinary heights. ITINENARY

Itinerary of Annapurna Base Camp 14 Days

Our Company representative will be standing in front of arrival gate to meets you at Tribhuban International Airport, Kathmandu holding a board of our company SNOWPAL TREK AND EXPEDITION Pvt. Ltd. along with your Name and transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Hotel on BB Basis in Kathmandu.

After Breakfast first we check all the trekking equipments and if missing some of trekking gear, we can buy during the sightseeing. Full day sightseeing proceeds to the prominent UNESCO world heritage site to Syambhunath Stupa the Buddhist sanctuary said to be nearly 2000 years old. The hill itself is pleasant place overlooking the entire valley of Kathmandu. The all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha painted in prominent blue atop the dome are visible from long distance from around the Kathmandu city. Then proceed to patan durbar squar also call Lalitpur the city full of fine arts. It cover the dozen of temples like Krishna Mandir, Kumbeswor temple, Golden temle. Next site proceed to Pashupatinath Temple the holiest Hindu Temple situated on the bank of sacred holy river Bagmati. Sightseeing continues to the Boudhanath Stupa the biggest Stupa around inhabited by Tibetan Refugee since 1959AD. The day ends at Kathmandu Durbar Squar where can visti the Living GoddesKumari who appear on the balcony of her temple to greet her devotees, Kastamandap temple (Though now it is under reconstruction process after collapsed in earthquake in 25 April 2014), the temple made out of single tree and named Kathmandu as it was known as Kantipur in earlier times. Kathmandu Durbar Squar cover dozen of temple concluding Kumari temple, Hanuman Dhoka, Maizudewal, Taleju temple, Nautale Durbar, KaalBhairav, freak street and many more.

Overnight in a Boutique Hotel on BB Basis in Kathamndu.

We request you to have an early breakfast and be ready exactly at 06:15 in your hotel loby, guide will pick up you and transfer to the tourist bus station and drive (approximately seven hours with breaks) through the beautiful river view and Nepalese countryside to reach the Pokhara lakeside. Lunch spot on the way to Pokhara and you will be arrived late afternoon at Pokhara approximately 2:00 o’clock. Pokhara lakeside sites walking around, “front row center” to one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world.

After breakfast approx: 7: 30AM drive to Nayapul (42Km) 1.5hr by Car via large village of Lumle than new road has expanded up to Kimchethrough Birentanthi a large and prosperous town. After half hour refreshment having tea/coffee or any type of drinks at Kimche, we start ascending trek to Ghandruk, a beautiful village mostly inhabited by Gurung community. We visit Gurung museum to about Gurung ethnic group couture.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

At this Juncture, we climb up for round an hour up to Kimrungdanda. On the way, we can enjoy great views of Annapurna south, Hinchuli, Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhere) and Ganggapurna. A steep descent taketakes us to the KimrongKhola. After another steep ascent from KimrongKhola to Cheredanda, we descend for a while and then it’s a gentle walk to Chhomorong. Chhomorong is a beautiful village located on the lap of the gaint Annapurna massive.

Overnight in Chhumrung (2170m/7,119ft)at a Mountain Lodge

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Breakfast served in the morning at 7AM. Start your journey to Dovan approximately 8:00AM. From Chhomrung the trail descends on 2500 stone staircase and cross the ChhomrungKhola. Climbing high above the Modi Khola on its west banks, the trails passes through forest of bamboo, rhododendron and oak. Climbing further on a rocky trail you reach at Sinuwa, 2250m/7,381ft. The trails continues rhododendrons forest, climb Kuldi. From Kuldi, the trails descends a long steep stone staircase into deep bamboo and rhododendron forests, then short distance on a muddy trail to Bamboo and time for Lunch. From Bamboo the trail climbs steeply through stands of bamboo, occasionally dropping slightly to cross the tributary streams, its take approximately one hours trek to Dovan

Overnight in Dovan (2600m/8,530ft)at a Mountain Lodge

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

We pass through the bamboo forest which is damp and cold then ascend steadily with a few steep sections. It is only after reaching Himalaya Hotel that the forest opens up and we are out in the sun again with astounding views of the glacial river below. It is a steep climb up through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. From here we can see the trail drop closer to the river before climbing again to Deurali, the most scenic stretch of the day. The vegetation is sparse, allowing magical views of the valley, the river below, and the sheer rock-face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls.

Overnight in Deurali (3230m/10,597ft)at a Mountain Lodge

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Climb gently through a river bed then over a steep trail over to the mountain side. The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is somewhat strenuous. From Machhapuchhre Base camp we get excellent views of the Majestic Mt. Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hinchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Ganggapurna which is certainly a rewarding experience. The vegetation disappears on the way to ABC and the path widens as we enter the Annapurna Sanctuary. From here, we get sensational views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna towering above us. The Sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding the 3600-digree panorama. Annapurna Base Camp is at 4,131m. We again get to savor mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchhre from another side than Pokhara sitting in lap of Mt. Annapurna I (8,091m.)

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Being of the early morning wake up and climb to view point spot where you can see sunrise over the mountains. You will also visit nearby ABC then we retrace our steps to Bamboo after Breakfast. The track remains on the west bank of the Modi, now flowing through a more open valley and eventually emerges into the Sanctuary. Straight ahead is the high lateral moraine. After the sunrise trip, return to our camp and time for breakfast. After breakfast you will return same way to Bamboo.

Overnight in Bamboo (2340m/7,677ft) at a Mountain Lodge

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

From Bamboo, the trail short distance is muddy, then it is an uphill trek to Kuldighar 2300m. /7,545ft. metres. The trails continue in rhododendrons forests down to Sinuwa, 2250 metres. Your lunch spot in Sinuwa. After lunch trek to Chhomrung. From Sinuwa the trail is down till Modi Khola. After passes the river, the trail climb steep way approx. One and half hour to Chhomrung. Then continue descend to Jhinudanda. Today we will have an opportunity to enjoy the hot springs which is just a 15-20 minute Walk down at the bank of glacial Modi Khola to soothe our aching body by natural hot spring.

Overnight in Jhinudanda (1760m/5,774ft) at a Mountain Lodge

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

From Jhinudanda the trail is very easy walk to Nayapul where we get to enjoy the amazing hilly landscape of western Nepal. After lunch walk to Bherikharkaout Trek ends at Nayapul then we board our vehicle to Pokhara.

Explore the second largest city of Nepal dominated by the peaks of Annapurna range. Pokhara(931m/3,054ft), is only fifty kilometers from Annapurna (8,091 meters) clearly seen from the valley. The prominent peaks from east to west are Annapurna South (7,219m), VarahaShikhar (7,647m.) Annapurna I (8,091m.), Khangsar Kang (7,485 m), Tarke Kang (7, 193m) Gangapurna (7,455), Annapurna III (7,555m), Machhapuchhre (6,997m), Annapurna IV (7,525m), Annapurna II (7,937m) and LamjungHimal (6,983m). In addition to these Dhaulagiri I can be seen to the north- west and Manaslu and Himalchuli to the north –east.

Main Sightseeing spot and focused program,

Drive to world peace pogada and on the way back travel to David’s fall and see the Hindu shrine at GupteshowMahadiv Cave. Go to SetiGandaki Gorge, and in the evening boating in the Phewa Lake than visit to a temple dedicated to Varahi temple on a small island, where devotees go for their worship. Explore the Mountain Museum, local tribals museum.

Overnight at hotel on BB basis in Pokhara.

We request you to have an early breakfast and be ready exactly at 06:30 in your hotel loby, Vehicle driver will pick up you and transfer to the tourist bus station and drive (approximately seven hours with breaks) through the beautiful river view and Nepalese countryside to return back to Kathmandu. Lunch spot on the way to Kathmandu and you will be arrived late afternoon at Kathmandu approximately 2:00 o’clock. Transfer to hotel and rest of the day will be leisure day.

Meal: Farewell Dinner with Nepali ethnic group culture dance in a Nepali Restaurant

The mentioned itinerary is supposed today is the end day of your adventure to Nepal for this time. Our company representative will take you to the international airport on your flight time from hotel to board onward journey flight approximately 2:30 hour before of your schedule flight. Or you may combine with other trip like white water rafting or safari tour at Chitwan Park or another trek/climb in your choise. The cost would be extra for any additional activities.
