ITINENARY

Itinerary of Anapurna Circuit Trek and Upper Mustang Jeep Tour

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, where a Snowpal representative will warmly welcome you. Transfer to your hotel for a comfortable stay. Spend the evening exploring Kathmandu’s bustling streets or relaxing after your journey. A welcome dinner will be hosted to brief you on
the adventure ahead.

Overnight in a Boutique Hotel on BB Basis.

After Breakfast first we check all the trekking equipment and if missing some of trekking gear, we can buy during the sightseeing. Our day proceeds to the prominent UNESCO world heritage site to Syambhunath Stupa the Buddhist sanctuary said to be nearly 2000 years old. The hill itself is pleasant place overlooking the entire whole Kathmandu valley. The all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha painted in prominent blue atop the dome are visible from long distance from around the Kathmandu city.

Embark on a scenic drive through lush valleys and terraced hillsides. Stop at Besisahar to switch to a rugged route leading to Chame. As you ascend, enjoy views of the Marsyangdi River and the towering Annapurna peaks.

Continue the journey through picturesque landscapes to reach Manang. Along the way, you will pass traditional villages and witness the unique Tibetan-influenced culture. Explore the vibrant Manang Bazaar upon arrival.

Spend the day acclimatizing to the altitude. Take a hike to Ice Lake or Gangapurna Lake for stunning panoramic views. Learn about local traditions at the Himalayan Rescue Association’s acclimatization clinic.

Start your trek towards Tilicho Base Camp. The trail takes you through arid landscapes and steep terrains, offering striking views of Annapurna peaks. Arrive at Tilicho Base Camp for an overnight stay.

Begin the day early to visit Tilicho Lake, one of the world’s highest lakes at 4,920m. Bask in its turquoise beauty against the backdrop of snow-capped peaks. Descend to Shree Kharka for a restful evening.

The trail to Lattadar is a visual treat, offering serene landscapes and glimpses of Himalayan flora and fauna. Arrive at a secluded teahouse for an overnight stay.

Overnight in Latdar Mountain Lodge (4,176m/13,700ft)

Continue the trek with a steady ascent to Thorong Phedi, the base camp for crossing the Thorong La Pass 5,416m. Prepare for the challenging climb ahead.

The trail now leaves the river valley and climbs steadily over lateral moraine. The pass, marked by a large cairn, is the highest point of our trek Thorung La (5,416m/17,769ft). It is an exhilarating geographical feature, dividing 2 mighty Himalayan valleys. Far below to the west is the Kaligandaki River. We descend in that direction for the village of Muktinath, located in a poplar grove. It is a sacred shrine and pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists.

Take a jeep ride through arid terrains to Ghami, known for its dramatic landscapes and Tibetan-influenced culture. Visit local monasteries and interact with the warm, hospitable locals.

Discover the ancient Ghar Gumba, adorned with vibrant murals. This Monastery is the most oldest and first Monastery in Tibetan Plateau. And Continue the drive to Lomanthang, the walled city of Upper Mustang. Explore its royal palaces and monasteries.

Today is free to explore the fascinating city of Lo Mantang. The city contains about 150 houses, as well as residences for its many lamas. There are four major temples within the city and one of these, ChampaLhakang, contains a huge clay statue of Buddha as well as elaborate mandalas painted on the walls. The king’s palace is an imposing building in the center of the city and is occupied by the current King and Queen. Although his duties are largely ceremonial, the King is respected by the people and consulted about many issues by villagers throughout the kingdom. It is possible to hire horses to visit these valleys, but this cost is excluded in the tour.

Enjoy a scenic drive to Pokhara, followed by a short flight to Kathmandu. Spend the evening exploring or relaxing at your hotel.

Extend Pokhara City Sightseeing Tour:

After breakfast we’ve sightseeing around Pokhara valley. You’re free in Pokhara Valley also called “ Magic Land” or Dreamland’ of Nepal, to explore the various interesting place like a boating in Fewa lake overlooking the region of Annapurna areas, David Falls, Mahendra Cave and some Temples. After lunch you’re free to shop for souvenirs or rest overnight at Pokhara.

Transfer from hotel to international airport to board onward journey flight. Or combine with other trip like Sightseeing in UNESCO world heritage site around Kathmandu valley or join the day trip for white water rafting or safari tour at Chitwan Park or any other activities in your favor.  The cost of extended activities will be extra.
