Nepal Visa Process

 

Every tourist intending to visit to Nepal must have Nepal visa except Indian Tourist. You do not need to have any complex process to obtain Nepal visa. Tourist can obtain Nepal visa in a short period of time when you arrive Kathmandu’s Tribhuban International Airport or road borders at Mahendranagar, Dhangadi, Nepalgunj, Sunauli, Raxaul/Birganj, Kakarvitta, and Tibet/China border at Rasuwagadi immigration office.

Tibet side Everest Base Camp

 

To get Everest Base Camp from Tibet side, you can either fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa (Gonggar Airport) or drive to Kerung by Jeep. If you fly in and fly out it required  only 8 days’ time including 2 days Lhasa Sightseeing Tour. Lhasa flight is not connected except Kathmandu or inbound Chinese major cities. You may also do fly in to Lhasa, drive out from Nepal border or drive in to Tibet, fly out from Lhasa (Gonggar Airport). Tibet side Everest Base camp is connected with China road network. So it is easily accessible Tibet side Everest Base camp without any trekking. But it is not allowed for individual Tourist to go EBC. You need at least person to obtain group Tibet travel permit and tourist can’t apply for Tibet Permit directly. Travel Agency will apply for your permit at Tibetan Tourism Bureau in Lhasa at least 3 weeks before of your entry date to Tibet. Travel Agency will follow the processing terms of Chinese government. To go Tibet, you also should aware for altitude sickness and have to understand about it. You will be almost above 4000m, firstly just take it easy and drink plenty of water, liquid food like soup and that food which easily may digest. Do not drink alcohol and smoke as possible as you can. Feel it and take care of your body. Altitude Sickneess may decrease easily if you could go lower land which is not possible in Tibet. This plateau is not very up and down. So first take care in your food and second prepare some useful medicines. Before entering to Tibet you may take help of your doctor. Suoluomabao (Chinese said Hongjingtian Capsules), Nifedipine, Nuodikang you may get in Lhasa or Internationally known high altitude medicine “Diamox” may better to keep in your bag. If you feel better after taking medicine, you can continue your tour ahead but if you don’t feel better after taking medicine, please contact your Tour leader or tour guide as soon as possible.
